Antonio Pampliega es un fotografo freelance que está cubriendo la guerra de Siria. Es uno de los pocos fotografos que esta metido en lo mas profundo de toda esta barbarie.
Hace dos semanas le escuche en una entrevista en un programa de radio. En esa entrevista detallaba lo que esta ocurriendo, cosas que podreis ver en el enlace de vimeo que abajo os he dejado.
Junto a otros fotografos españoles que estan alli trabajando junto a el han decidido sacar a la luz el libro "Siria. Más allá de Bab Al-Salam", de libros.com. En el narra catorce historias que muestran cómo es la vida cotidiana en Siria mientras en cada esquina silban las balas y cruzar a la siguiente calle puede suponer el fin de tu vida. La parte más humana del conflicto, a través de los testimonios de personas comunes, sencillas, cuyas vivencias aportan un valor extraordinario para poder entender lo que realmente ocurre. No es el tipico libro con imagenes de guerra. Es el libro cuyos beneficios van a ser destinados a llevar material quirurgico hasta alli. Ellos, estos fotografos van a ser los encargados de llevarlo hasta alli, para suministrar a los diversos hospitales clandestinos que hay en varias ciudades como la de Aleppo, donde se estan llevando a cabo los mayores combates.
Nos podíamos haber estado quietos, seguir con nuestros asuntos, nuestras compras navideñas, nuestros post-denuncia que solo requieren un movimiento del ratón... pero gente como Antonio Pampliega hace que reaccionemos. Definitivamente gracias a todos por divulgar el libro Esto sí es una ayuda tangible que no se pierde en la inmensidad de la red y no llega a ninguna parte. Esto llega.
